At Ridstaar, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and obligations when returning products and requesting refunds. Please read it carefully before completing your order.

30‑Day Return Window

You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. We calculate the start date as the delivery date confirmed by the carrier. Returns requested after this 30‑day period will not be accepted.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused – it must not have been ridden, installed, assembled, or modified.
  • The product must be in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, tags, and protective materials.
  • The product must not show signs of damage, scratches, stains, or wear caused by improper handling or misuse.

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these requirements. If we reject a return, we will send the product back to you at your expense, or we may dispose of it after notifying you.

Two Scenarios: Customer Remorse vs. Defective / Quality Issue

We clearly distinguish between returns based on the reason. The table below explains who pays for return shipping and whether any fees apply.

Important: For both scenarios, there is no restocking fee, no reshelving fee, and no cancellation fee. You will never be charged a penalty for returning an item.

How to Initiate a Return – Step‑by‑Step

To start your return, please follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Return Request Form located at the bottom of this page.

You must fill in all required fields:

  1. Order number (required)
    1. Product name (required)
    1. Return reason (required) – choose from options such as “Changed my mind”, “Wrong size”, “Defective product”, “Damaged on arrival”, or “Other”.
    1. Photo evidence (required) – upload clear photos showing the product, its condition, and (if applicable) the defect or damage.
  2. Submit the form. Our customer service team will review your request within 1 business day.
  3. We will send you a confirmation email with one of the following:
    1. A prepaid return shipping label (for defective / quality issues).
    1. Return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number (for remorse returns). You will need to arrange and pay for return shipping yourself.
  4. Pack the product securely in its original packaging, include all accessories, and clearly write your RMA number on the outside of the package.

Return Shipping Costs – Detailed

  • Defective / quality issue: We will email you a prepaid shipping label. You do not pay any shipping costs.
  • Customer remorse: You are responsible for all return shipping costs. We suggest using a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance, because we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit when you ship them back.

If you use our prepaid label for a remorse return, we will deduct the shipping cost from your refund.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it. The following table shows our expected processing times:

Total refund time from our receipt to your account: 9–14 business days.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method (the same credit card, debit card, or PayPal account used for the purchase). We cannot issue refunds to a different account or via cash.

Non‑Returnable Items

The following products cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Products that have been used, assembled, installed, or modified (unless the product was defective upon arrival and you reported it within the 30‑day window).
  • Products returned without original packaging, missing accessories, or with damaged labels.
  • Products returned after the 30‑day period.
  • Products damaged by the customer due to accidents, misuse, drops, water exposure, or unauthorized repairs.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order before it is shipped, please contact us immediately at info@ridstaar.it.com. If we have not yet processed your order for shipping, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method within 1–2 business days. If the order has already shipped, you must follow the standard return process outlined above (including return shipping costs for remorse cancellations).

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after the timelines stated above:

  1. Check your bank or credit card statement again – sometimes refunds appear as pending.
  2. Contact your bank or card issuer, as they may have additional processing delays.
  3. If you have completed these steps and still have not received the refund, please email us at info@ridstaar.it.com with your order number, and we will investigate with our payment processor.
